Technological designs or, more reasonably, marketing ploys—artificial intelligence promises better days ahead. Hypnotized by this prophecy that’s been declared a thousand times over, the world sees in this cult-like vision the answer to the immediacy that it cannot control.
The only hope amidst this proclaimed debauchery of power is that artificial intelligence still allows one to criticize and caricature it—but for how much longer…therein lies the question.
